Currently we work with a select group of teachers who are members of the Kwale Wildlife Clubs Patrons Action Group (KWAPEG). Through this partnership, we are currently developing FREE workshops for governmental teachers, focusing on conservation topics and implementation in schools. We will further develop this in 2020 and will be offering this to all teachers in our community.
Through these workshops, teachers will receive resources to be used in schools as well as training in marine conservation and methods of implementation. It is vital that teachers are involved in all aspects of this programme for it to achieve the highest success. We also understand the pressures our teachers are under in our county; therefore, it is essential that all our programmes assist teachers rather than add more work to their already busy schedules!
