Mangrove forests are probably one the most vital ecosystems in the world, living between land and sea, and providing coastal communities with protection and resources. Yet they are one of the fastest declining ecosystems in the world!

The Conservation Education Society champions mangrove forests through our education and awareness programmes, but we know more needs to be done to protect these vital forests. Therefore, we are working with a nearby community, who heavily rely on mangrove forests, to create a sustainable use of these forests as well as exploring businesses opportunities. Not only will this help build financial independence, but will help protect these forests from further destruction.
