In 2019, the Society along with the Marine Education Centre hosted the first-ever Sea Turtle Festival in Diani. This was a great success, bringing people from all walks of life. Through local support and funding, we were able to sponsor the attendance of several conservation groups and nearly 200 local students.

This will be an annual event, with the main objective of increasing awareness about sea turtles and their threats. Please read our Sea Turtle Festival Newsletter below for further information.
