Local Ocean Conservation

Local Ocean Conservation is a non-profit organization established in 1997 committed to the protection of Kenya’s marine environment. They aim to use practical conservation, community development, education, research, and campaigning to promote the sustainable use of Kenya’s marine resources. Sea turtles are the focus of many of their projects as they act as a flagship species for local ocean health.
